Hello Parents!
The children are very excited to use an online reading tool called RAZKIDS provided by PTA funds!! The children are able to earn points for reading, listening and taking a short quiz. You may use this tool as a supplement to at home reading. Go to RAZKIDS.com and follow the directions on the card found in your child's homework folder today!
Math homework will begin next week. Please complete one page every day and return in the HW folder as I check it daily.
Curriculum for July/August
Math- Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a written numeral.
Reading-Identify the main topic and retell key details of a text., Retell stories, including key details, and demonstrates understanding of their central message or lesson.
Writing-Write narratives in which they recount two or more appropriately sequenced evenets, include some details regarding what happened, use temporal words to signal event order, and provide some sense of closusre.
